Last month my baseball coach asked the team if any of us new how to make websites. He wanted to build a site to show off the teams statistics. Our coach Larry thought that our site should have full animation so that it could impress site visitors. I knew how to make sites, but really didn’t want to volunteer to do extra work. My buddy ended up telling the coach that I know how to make websites before I got the chance to tell him to keep quiet. Of course I couldn’t lie and say that I couldn’t, so I ended up being stuck with the task.
Knowing that the coach didn’t have a large budget to work for, I decided to try and find a free web host and some discounted seo services. I’d use local Minneapolis seo services to keep seo costs down. I found some great blogging platforms, and built a site using Blogger. After showing the site to coach Larry I was kind of embarrassed. He didn’t want to offend me so he said it was good, but I could see in his eyes that he was not satisfied. I immediately told him that this was just an outline and that the real site would be coming soon.
I went back to the drawing board to think about what kind of platform I could use to make a great site. After searching around the Internet I decided that the best way for me to make a great web site would be for me to use flash. Using this platform I could put in some fully animated graphics. Also, I’d be able to put in short video clips of my teammates at bat. I figured the guys would really love to see some highlight clips of the team on the Internet.
A thorough search of the Internet brought me to a place where I could get a free flash website. I signed up at the site and looked through what they had to offer. This site was just what I needed. Although I ended up devoting an additional two weeks to the site I am very happy with the new look. After seeing the look the coach gave my new site, I knew it was good. Using Surge Seo we got the site ranked in the search engines.
The rest of the team loved the site as well and Jack’s dad even asked me to make a site for him. He said he’d pay me, but I think i’ll do it just for the fun of it.

You can really turn out to be a webmaster without having any related experience in web advancement, thanks to free website templates that are gaining reputation these days. They assist not only the novices but also the professionals in developing web sites which have striking designs yet functional and appropriate for the primary contents.
When it comes for your website, extra attention must be paid to each and every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its objective. Here are seven important guidelines of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.
1) Usually do not use splash webpages
Splash webpages are the initial webpages you see when you arrive at a website. They typically use a extremely stunning image with words like “welcome” or “click right here to enter” and may be downloaded at most personal website templates. In fact, they’re just that – pretty vases without any actual objective. Usually do not enable your site visitors use a purpose to click about the “back” button! Give them the value of the website up front without having the splash page.
2) Usually do not use excessive banner advertisements

Traffic consists of the number of website visitors of which some will perform transactions while other won’t. There are many ways to increase traffic, but many web visitors do not necessarily bring high profit to a certain company. Which is why I will briefly touch upon relevant and irrelevant web traffic so that you should know which to aim at.
The keywords selected for your domain of activity influence relevant traffic. You have to find those keywords that best define your product or service before the actual business promotion on the Internet. Whenever a web user starts a search, he/she will type a keyword or a phrase in the search engine box, and based on that, the browser will display a list of websites that match the query.
Let’s say you sell baby wipes. You need to use very specific keyword phases such as ‘how to clean baby’, ‘cleaning baby’, ‘delicate wipes for baby skin’ and so on. When relying on such keywords, you will increase traffic and attract those web visitors that are most likely to become business prospects. If you use too general keywords like ‘baby’, ‘wipes’ and even ‘baby wipes’ you will attract a huge number of visitors but such ways to increase traffic will be little profitable for your business.
And here we have the issue of irrelevant traffic. Business owners that use pay-per-click advertising with Adwords lose a lot of money because of irrelevant traffic: visitors access the web page, they click on ads (which costs money) and then leave without performing any transaction. You can recognize a prospect by the amount of time it spends on your website reading content, viewing products and even performing searches for other products without leaving your page. Thus, all your efforts should converge in the direction to increase traffic with a seo link building service only if it has relevance for your business.
Check the Internet for resources that teach web developers effective link building strategies to increase traffic and business exposure. Special software programs and tools could help you here a lot. With the right information, you can make money online, and a successful business owner knows what he/she is doing. Never ignore the changes in the market trends because this could influence managerial decisions. Consequently, the attempt to increase traffic should be professional not amateurish. Otherwise, it will be difficult to make money online!

I am sure you have heard of search engine optimisation services, also known as seo services. It’s the process of using keywords to draw targeted traffic to your online business. But what about keyword phrases? Use them to bring in even more lucrative visitor traffic.
Keywords are used in content, web page headlines and the like to gain interest from the major search engines. Once you register your website development with them, their little soldiers (bots/spiders) go to work checking out what you have to offer. Use highly specific words that your customers will choose to search for your website; your content can then rank within the first page of results. Ideally your entry would be the first link that your searchers find.
Website content is not just something for visitors to read. It is also a way to attract the “right” visitors in the first place. It is very important that you use the right keywords across your site, so that you gain the acceptance of the search engines and become visible.
Doing your Homework.
You thought that homework stopped when you graduated from school. If you are in business then you will always be learning, so long as you want to go as far as you possibly can. To that end, it is time to do a little homework for your content – keyword research.
